Refer a Patient
We make continuing care simple. When your patients leave detox or residential treatment, we can see them quickly — by telehealth, anywhere in California.
We bill PPO and POS plans as an out-of-network provider. We verify your patient’s out-of-network benefits before care begins, the patient pays their estimated share, and we bill the plan directly. Patients can also pay privately. In-network participation is planned but not yet in place.
For Case Managers and Clinicians:
Every patient begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation by a licensed prescribing clinician, including a multidimensional assessment using the ASAM Criteria and diagnosis under DSM-5-TR criteria. Treatment is integrated for co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, with physician-led medication management for addiction treatment — buprenorphine and naltrexone for opioid use disorder, and naltrexone and acamprosate for alcohol use disorder — through DEA-compliant electronic prescribing. Drug testing is observed by video and processed by an independent CLIA-certified laboratory, with a documented clinical interpretation of every result. Records are protected under HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Ask us for our full clinical overview.
How a Referral Works
Referring a patient takes less than five minutes. Here is what happens after you reach out:
Step 1 — Contact us by phone, email or the form below with your patient's name and a contact number. We acknowledge every referral within two business hours.
Step 2 — We speak with the patient or family about how care works and what it costs. If they want to use insurance, we check their out-of-network benefits first. Every patient receives a written estimate before care begins.
Step 3 — The patient completes new-patient paperwork, and we schedule a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
Step 4 — Their clinicians build an individualized treatment plan with them — therapy, group sessions, medication management and drug testing as clinically indicated.
Step 5 — With the patient's signed authorization, we keep you informed: confirmation when care starts, progress updates, and a summary when care ends.
INSURANCE AND PAYMENT
We are not in network with any health plan. We bill PPO and POS plans as an out-of-network provider, and patients can also pay privately.
If the patient uses insurance:
We check their out-of-network benefits before care begins and give them a written estimate of their share.
They pay their estimated share each month in advance, and we bill the plan as they receive care.
Because we are out of network, the patient is responsible for whatever part of our fee the plan doesn’t pay.
If the patient pays privately:
They receive a written Good Faith Estimate before care begins.
Nothing is sent to their insurance, and we provide a superbill on request.
Our fees are published and itemized, and patients are charged only for the services they actually receive. We do not bill HMO or EPO plans such as Kaiser, and we are not able to serve Medi-Cal or Medicare beneficiaries at this stage.
We’re glad to walk a patient or family through it. Call (833) 743-0047.
In-network participation is planned but not yet in place.
